Doctor Patricia Franco is a neuropediatrician, specialist of sleep in children. She is Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at University Lyon 1. She is in charge of the Pediatric Sleep Unit & National Center for Narcolepsy in children in the Mother and Children’s Hospital in Lyon, France. She belongs to a research unit (INSERM U 1028, “Integrative Physiology of Brain Arousal System”, Dr JS Lin). She has an active clinical practice seeing both respiratory medicine and Pediatric sleep medicine patients. Her research topics are the « Physiology and pathophysiology of arousal mechanisms in children” especially in Sudden Infant death Syndrome and Narcolepsy.
