Dr Stijn Massar obtained his PhD in Psychology from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Sleep and Cognition Laboratory, at the National University of Singapore. His research interests are in Sleep, Fatigue, and Motivation. He has a specific interest in how the motivation to exert effort influences neurocognitive functioning and performance.
