Prof.Dr. Christoph Schöbelcompleted his training as a specialist in internal medicine with a focus on cardiology at the Clinic for Cardiology and Angiology of the Berlin Charité. After his license to practice medicine, he was given the opportunity to become a study doctor at the Interdisciplinary Sleep Medicine Center of the Charité. In the further course he acquired additional qualifications in sleep medicine and somnology. Until he moved to Essen, Christoph Schöbel was the specialist in charge in the cardiology university outpatient department on the Charité Mitte campus. Dr. Schöbel is an active member of the German Society for Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine (DGSM) and is currently the spokesman for the working group “Circulation and Sleep” and a member of the scientific committee. His specialty at “Germany Sleeps Healthy” is in the field of telemedicine and eHealth.
